VR, AR and 360 videos are now gaining a lot of popularity. An increasing number of filmmakers (professionals and hobbyists alike), are experimenting with the medium. However, the way we make VR and 360 content is significantly different from traditional video. Our goal is to help creators to visualize their vision in a more suited way. myx helps creators make storyboards for the new immersive media.
Joakim is a Danish NYC-based creative developer, currently pursuing a Master’s Degree from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP). Joakim holds a Bachelor of Science in IT Product Development from Aarhus University, Denmark. Joakim’s interest lies in the creative development and manipulation of current and new technologies, creating interactive installations, immersive experiences, tech products and more.
Ondina is a Romanian graduate student at NYU studying Interactive Telecommunications. At the ITP Winter Show, Ondina’s project “Fibonacci Galaxy” was invited to participate in the World Science Festival 2016. Ondina holds a Master and Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Design from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in Romania/University of Dortmund Germany. She holds also a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Arts University of Targu-Mures, Romania. As a graduate student at NYU ITP, Ondina was awarded the May and Samuel Rudin scholarship and the NYU Provost Global Research Fellowship to do research at the Tel Aviv University in computational neuroscience.
Roi is an Israeli NYC based storyteller and entrepreneur. He is currently a graduate student at the Interactive telecommunications Program of TISCH NYU. Roi holds a bachelor degree in both films and psychology allowing him to develop new forms of media both from the platform and the content aspects.
Mithru is a graduate student at NYU, studying at the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP). Before this, he lived in Singapore where he collaborated with the Media Lab at Lasalle and ArtMakesUs. He also worked at R/GA’s prototype studio and Metalworks by Maxus where he developed hardware and software prototypes for creative campaigns around the world.
